Its 15 years since Kurt Cobain died. Back in the early nineties the Seattle sound of grunge made us grow our hair, wear plaid shirts, over-size jumpers and holey tights. Kate Moss's new range for Topshop is full of holes, distressing, greys and blacks and the oversize check shirt has been a must-have for at least 12 months. So I guess this means its all come full circle.
I dug out all my old Nirvana and had a little listen - sounds as good as it ever did. I remember being completely enthralled by Kurt - watching how he managed to make an old frayed jumper look like the sexiest thing ever. So I've decided to add him to the hero's range in honour of my mis-spent youth!
