Pigtails and Photographs

It's bit of a rollercoaster of a week - it's getting to that time of year again when everything goes even more crazy than usual. After getting all the new range uploaded to the website we got a couple of wholesale orders from shops in Ukraine and Scotland - yay!

So we've been busying away at the studio - I've have something like 60 dresses, 30 skirts, 10 cardigans, crop tops, tees and sweatshirts galore to make. On top of all that the new season has been selling well so I've also had stock to make for the shop. So I've been in the studio three days this week instead of my usual one - and I've still not finished so it will be late nights next week!

On the plus side I've re-discovered my love of pigtails. When I'm sewing I hate my hair in my face distracting me so I usually scrape it back in a messy bun and headband - most glamourous (not). But this week I"ve been a pigtail girl again - reminds me of my schooldays. Even at college and university I liked wearing my hair in plaits but gradually wore it like that less and less - It must be a few years! I always used to say that plaits have healing powers and they made me feel a bit crazy. I guess this week I've wanted to call on anything that will give me a bit of extra energy!

As well as monster amounts of sewing, we had another photoshoot (that makes 3 now! well 4 including the flats). Thanks to photographer John, model Jenna and stylist / organiser Hannah we've now got over 100 garments from the shop photographed - Gordon will put them all online over the weekend! Here's a little
peek....
