So why Womble?

Fashion is so much about nostalgia.

We all remember the lyrics..... "Making good use of the things that we find, Things that the everyday folks leave behind"

For me, fashion isn't just about buying the 'hot new product' or the most expensive thing in the shop. It's more of a way of life, a raison d'etre. At Me and Yu always say "Me&Yu isn't just a fashion label, it's our life". For us it's a way of being, and for me it started at an early age. Fashion has been an important area of my life, all of my life.

I wanted a place to tell my fashion stories, of remembered outfits (put-together in haste, on a shoe-string) of the things we wore (and will again). A place to record what inspires and repulses - what's hot / what's not. A place to offer my professional opinion - from shops to websites, collections and colours, but without the confines of being a style guide or a shopping manual.

So it's more like an online diary, or headspace - things that come up inside the busy head of a fashion designer. An ecclectic and irreverent collection of thoughts,musings, rants and ramblings.

I'm not that bothered if no-one reads it - but if you do i hope i bring a smile to your day!
