XX seems to be a bit of a recurring theme at the moment....
The XX are a London band I've been listening to for some time - have a listen to this great re-mix of Florence and The Machine's cover version of You've Got The Love....
Their album is simply called XX and I've been listening to it every day in the shop.
As well as music XX has caught my eye in fashion - by way of these great new boots by converse - The XX-Hi is a classic canvas lace up - but these go right up to the knee! Couldn't be bothered lacing them up every morning? Well Converse have put a handy zip - right up the back! Now that's what I call clever.
The trouble is getting hold of a pair - they haven't been released in the UK yet. So I went on the Converse website but they're not even on there so I think this may be an on-going quest. What I did notice on the very fabulous Converse website is that in America you can "Design Your Own Converse" and get them made in your choice of colours! So I had a go and designed a very gorgeous leather ankle boot:
Trouble is - I want this one now too and they don't ship to the UK! - Converse you need a UK website! I need to find someone in America NOW!
