Its A Small Blogging World

Cloth Magazine contacted me, after discovering my blog through Stuffed Nonsense (see someone does read!) They came into the shop on Friday and had a little chat to Gordon and took some photo's we're gonna get a mention in the next issue - yay!

I must say I was very impressed with Cloth Magazine (we're stocking it now - at only £3.50 it is a snip!). It bridges the gap between fashion and craft really well. It's got some easy 'how to' sections on re-mixed vintage and shop bought finds. Some great step-by-step information on how to get up and running with a sewing machine (Lucy at Vanilla Ivy - yours is in the post!) There's a great section on off the high street shopping - this month the main feature is Liverpool but there's a directory with countrywide shops.

And its just generally packed full with great ideas. But perhaps most of all I like the neat size, soft colours, lovely graphics and matt textured paper - I am a magazine junkie after all. It kind of reminds me of one of my favourite books, Fashion Market is a cute little book that has interviews and pictures with some of the small labels that sell at London markets Portobello and Camden.
