One of the drawbacks of working with your hands, crafting and sewing is they can get very dry. I always notice it more at this time of year and find myself reaching for the handcream a few times a day rather than just once or twice.
A good hand cream is hard to find - so many rub off on clothes or fabric, leaving greasy marks, or get absorbed too quickly, leaving dry hands again. But a few years ago I discovered the BEST handcream ever - I thought I would spread the word!
Fishermans Hand Cream by Elegance Natural Skincare is handmade by a small business, contains natural ingredients, contains a 'barrier' so it doesn't wash off straight away and most importantly isn't greasy. At £6.95 for 100g it a bit dearer than some on the market but it's very good value as it lasts for ages - mine has lasted for 12 months! Last time I ordered I treated myself to some other handmade goodies - I loved the Honey Bubble Bath and the Vitamin E Facial Scrub. I think I'll definately be ordering more in time for Christmas!
I've been making jewellery at the shop today - button charm bracelets. Rachel (my Monday girl) made these a few weeks ago but they were a bit big so she shorted them yesterday and I added some more buttons on to make them a bit more colourful. Here's some pictures.....

That handcream sounds perfect, cheers for the tip. I love the button jewellery! Xx
