So remember the stray cat we took in and named Lady Marmalade....well she had kittens! So we're now a six cat household! Perhaps it was a mistake naming her after a promiscuous lady of the night...but somehow it all makes sense.
It was a pretty amazing experience being a birthing partner for a cat, luckily lady m took to motherhood like a dream and knew exactly what to do. Two tiny little bundles of fluff were born last week - the evening before we went to London, typical! Thankfully mum came to the rescue and came to keep them company and make sure everyone was okay!
A week later and everyones doing fine and I'm hoping they open their eyes this weekend. At the moment they're segregated from the other rather confused cats, but when they're a bit bigger and bolder we shall tentitively introduce them and watch the chaos.
It's going to make for an entertaining Christmas!
